With one of our favourite album covers from this year’s submissions (see their Bandcamp for proof), Mongo Doom are a serious wild card—chunkier than an elephant-sized Oh Henry! and murkier than a swamp in Mordor. We’re excited to hear the Edmonton foursome paste us all with dripping bass and foul growls. Doom is everywhere, but now…it’s Mongo!
