In the 18th century, a Japanese monk walked into a village and famously asked, “What is the sound of one hand clapping?” The idea being that only when the mind is still can we truly hear the sound of one hand clapping. But what would that monk say about two drummers drumming?
Well, if he had seen the Kootenays’ Rad Dog, he probably would have hung up his sandals, bought some merch and become a devout Rad Dog fan. If you haven’t had the chance to experience the hardest-working and most exciting live band around, where punk rock meets indie rock, this is your chance. Oh, and forget about stillness, they’ll whip you up into a dervish.
Tune in to Rad Dog’s true nature on Bandcamp, and pose koans to them on Facebook and Instagram.
Massif 2024 is presented by Torchlight Brewing.
